Obedience Program Pricing
Basic Boot Camp
Camp Mutt’s Basic Boot Camp is geared toward younger dogs and/or new dog owners. This program establishes a bond between a young dog and their owner right from the start. In addition to preventing unwanted behaviors before they start, the dog learns basic commands while the owner learns how to communicate with their dog from an early age. All commands in this program are taught with minimal distractions with shorter distances and time periods.
Typical Commands Taught:
Focus – Sit – Down – Stay – Come – Intro to a Loose Leash
Pricing
Private, One-on-One Sessions: $750
You and your dog will meet with your Trainer once per week for 4-weeks. Each week you will have homework to practice from what you learned during your session.
Jump Start Hybrid: $2,700
Includes two weeks of board and train plus two additional weeks of private sessions.
Intermediate Boot Camp
Camp Mutt’s Intermediate Boot Camp is for dogs of any age, whether they have already been through basic obedience training – or no training at all. This level is for both new and seasoned dog owners.
Commands in this program are taught with moderate distractions present, moderate distances and time periods. This program may also include addressing behavior issues such as jumping, play biting, & counter surfing. We strive to squeeze as much as we can into your program!
Typical Commands Taught:
Focus – Sit – Down – Stay – Come – Loose Leash Walking – Leave-It

You and your dog will meet with your Trainer once a week for 5-weeks. Each week you will have homework to practice from what you worked on during your session.

Advanced Boot Camp
Build up to your dog’s full potential! Our Advanced Boot Camp focuses on the dog owners that want to bring their dog to the next level. Dogs in this program should be upwards of a year in age and absent of behavior issues to get the most out of your training time. Commands in this program are taught under higher distraction with longer distances and time periods. While we can work on minor behavioral issues in this program it will take time away from the commands.

Focus – Sit – Down – Stay – Come – Leave-It – Heel – Place – and More!

You and your dog will meet with your Trainer once a week for 6-weeks. Each week you will have homework to practice from what you worked on during your session.

Other Sessions and Group Classes
Open Sessions
Already been through training, but need a refresher or assistance? This class is for ANYONE to drop-in for help with obedience struggles.
Every Wednesday at 3pm
These DROP-In classes begin June 22. Some holiday weeks may not be offered. Call ahead to confirm availability.
Scent Dog Group Class
This class is taught by one of our very own Onslow County K9 Officers. Scent work class mimics the task of working detection dogs to locate a scent and communicate to the handler that the scent has been found.
6 Weeks of Group Classes
These are NOT drop-in classes. Please call to save your seat! 910-548-3257 No reactive dogs. Must know basic commands.
Group Obedience Classes
Only offered a few times per year, our group obedience class offers a very robust training course. Much like our Intermediate, private sessions, but in a group setting with many other dogs and humans.

We use psychology-based methods to get the dog to think and make appropriate decisions – while teaching the owners the “why” behind it.

Do I need to attend training with my dog?
During a Hybrid program, the dog stays with us for a few weeks to get a jump-start on training. You will attend up to 3 private sessions with your dog after your go-home session.
Private sessions and group classes are for the dog and their owners.
The dog owner is a VERY important part of the dog’s long-term success – no matter which program you decide to do.
